I’m currently working as a Ph.D. student in Information Systems at McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin. It is a job to pursue impact on both academia and industry. Fortunately, I have two of the best advisors in the world, Prof. Yan Leng and Prof. Ashish Agarwal, to guide me through this challenging journey.

My research interests are mainly in AI for Business. Specifically, I design AI systems (graph neural networks, large language models) to solve practical business problems (marketing design, fintech, etc.).

Before coming to Austin, I worked as a software development engineer for Alibaba Cloud. I received my M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2022 and my B.S. in Information Management and Information Systems from Wuhan University in 2019. I also hold a minor degree in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

• Oct 2025: Joint with Prof. Yan Leng and Prof. Leqi Liu, we won the INFORMS Data Science Workshop Best Paper Runner Up Award on a paper about the Impact of Homogenization Effects in Large Language Models on Platform Welfare.

• Oct 2024: Joint with Prof. Yan Leng and Prof. Ashish Agarwal, we won the INFORMS Data Science Workshop Best Paper Award on a paper about LLM for marketing content generation.

• Feb 2023: I accepted the Ph.D. offer from UT Austin, a turning point in my career.

• Dec 2022: A talk about DialogueGAT (slide) in FinNLP-2022.

• Oct 2022: Our paper DialogueGAT: A Graph Attention Network for Financial Risk Prediction by Modeling the Dialogues in Earnings Conference Calls (code) was accepted by Findings of EMNLP 2022!
